Have you ever thought what you might like to get out of your yoga practice?
The whole world has completely changed and probably will never will go back to how it was. The economy has and will never be the same again. But all this aside, have you thought about how you would like your yoga practice to be? Do you think you are getting enough out of your practice? Ask yourself that question?
I've been working on a Webinar recently which is nearly complete and I'll then share it with the world. It got me thinking that a lot of people actually don't know what they want to get out of life. Now is the time to think about it. The whole world has come to a standstill. This is the perfect opportunity to go out there and grab life and live it to the fullest. Look around us, everyday we turn on the news, only to find out more people have died. If this isn't a wake up call then what is. I've actually stopped listening or scrolling through news on my phone as its all the same.
So this brings me back to your practice. Have a think about what you actually want to get out of your practice. Do you want to be more flowing? Do you want to slow it down a bit? Do you want a more mindful practice? The choice is yours.
There are so many different yoga classes out there. You need to find a teacher who you resonate with and who you feel comfortable with. At the end of the day, you are the one paying for a service. You need to feel comfortable in their presence. I always say to any new people who come to a class that a good teacher will not be offended if you don't come back to the class. It just means you didn't like the way the teacher was teaching, or just didn't get a good vibe. There are so many yoga teachers out there and each one has their own niche. Find one you like and stick with them. They will help you as much as they can to get what you want out of your practice.
So have a think about what you would like from your yoga practice. Let me know and we can add it to our classes.
Have a listen to my Yoga Interview on BBC Radio Sussex, It was great fun to be on the radio and getting the DJ to do some Yoga moves.
I hope you find this post helpful.
Let me know!
Have a blessed day!
