'Weight Loss Tips Anyone Can Follow'

I was asked a few weeks ago to write a piece for an online magazine called Health Web Magazine about 'Weight Loss Tips Anyone Can Follow' So thought I'd include it here for you as I know some of you are struggling again with your weight and are asking for some advice. Now this might not mean you are struggling right now but sometimes we get to the point especially during the time we are due on our monthly cycle. I know. I get really bloated and have so much water retention about 3 days before I'm due to come on my bleed and its not great. Jeans don't fit right and you feel like you just want to sit and be still on the sofa all day. Well here are my Go To Tips especially for you.

My go to tip will always be learn Portion sizes. This is the best thing you can do for yourself if you are wanting to loose weight. It's not about cutting out food groups either. A great tip is to use a smaller plate than you usually would so you aren't filling it up quite so much. And drink a pint of water about 10 minutes before you eat, this will trick your brain into feeling fuller so you will eat less.

Eating a balanced healthy diet so you are not cutting out anything will make you stick to it longer because you are not craving a certain food because you've cut it out. Having smaller portions and eating every 2-3 hours will keep your blood sugar levels at the correct level although every person is different so what might work for one person might not be the same for the other.
