The World Is My Oyster - What Does That Actually Mean?

In terms of thinking about this quote 'The World Is My Oyster' what does that mean to you? How are you looking at this and from what perspective?

Hugo (my son) and I were having a conversation the other day about this and it got me thinking, it could mean so much to different people. If you are one to be stuck in a job that you find stressful, this might mean that you need to get out of it and for you to go away and find your answer. This might mean if you own your own business that you can set you goals and dreams really high and go and achieve them no matter what anyone says.

So this got me thinking again (I do a lot of thinking) that if you are a stressful person and there are elements to your job or your life that you don't like, then the answer is simple. Change it. Now I'm not being drastic and saying you should move across the other side of the world but change little things each day to change the bigger picture, say in a years time will be transformative.

If you have always thought you might do yoga or there is a free class that your employer provides but you just haven't had the time to go to the class, then now is the time. Stop putting off or making excuses. Just do it. You are the one living your life and we are not on this planet for very long so we need to go and grab any opportunity we can just to change little things. Each little change makes for a bigger one down the line. It doesn't have to be a big change. I want you to focus on one thing and make a pact with yourself or with a friend that you are going to achieve this one thing. Lets say it is yoga. Say to yourself 'Right I am going to make myself practice yoga for 5 minutes each day' Better still DM me and tell me you are going to do this. Then do you know what, magical things start to happen. You start to feel better almost immediately as the 4 amazing happy hormones start to kick in which are Dopamine, Serotonin, Endorphins and Oxytocin. These guys will be your friends for life. They will always be there for you, you must need to let them help you every now and again and as I always say help comes from within. So if you want to find your answers they are always within you. Just let them flow out and live your life the way you were put on this planet to. Be happy, fulfilled, content and calm in all areas of you life.
