Monday Morning Motivation Check In


So you had a great weekend, maybe the weather wasn't that great but you still did some nice things. Out of your weekends activities, what felt good to you? What also felt bad for you? Did you have any bad points over the weekend? If you did have any bad points, what made them bad? Have a think about how it made you feel?


Today is a new day, start of a new week, so let's start off by jumping into the week on a positive note. What happened at the weekend is in the past. You can journal your thoughts, you can meditate on it, you can dance the negative energy out of your body and know that once you do this, you'll then be able to move forward and enjoy what this week has in store for you.


The past is in the past, you can't go back, you can learn from it and move on, or you can stay stagnant and stay feeling sad, lonely, hurt and anxious.


Make today count. Go out and do something for your lunch break instead of eating at your desk. Go and do a yoga class at lunch, or just before or just after work. Go and do something for you and for you to start your week off the right way. You'll get fresh air, exercise and feel so much better for it.


Having a positive mindset right from the beginning of the week, then sets you up for better things to happen within your week. You will be able to come from a place of calm rather than a place of anxiety.
