T U E S D A Y T I P S How to Relax in Savasana So many people just can't switch off in Savasana or Relaxation / meditation. Here are a few tips to help you get the most out of your practice. - Come to a laying down position, either having your knees bent, feet hip distance part and falling in on each other or allowing your legs to be fully flat, mat distance apart, allowing your feet to fall out to the sides. - Push your shoulders down away from your ears and drop your chin slightly towards your chest. - Allow your thoughts to drift off and allow your breathing to become easy. - While here, try to just let go. Let go of anything which no longer serves you. - With every inhale, saying to yourself Let and with every exhale saying to yourself Go. Notice your whole body relaxing. - Slowing start to relax working from your feet all the way up to your head. Try to allow your muscles to peel away from your bones. Fully relaxing your body into the floor. - Stay here for 10-30 minutes. - Notice how you feel when you come out.
