Find A Bear Hug


You are probably thinking WHAT!!!! is she on about now. Well let me explain. Go and find someone who will give you a bear hug, a cuddle, someone who will hold your hand.


When we touch by means of a cuddle, hug, or holding hands, our bodies release “feel good” hormones. These hormones include oxytocin, dopamine, and serotonin. Once the hormones are released into our bodies we experience feelings of happiness, relaxation, improve mood, and lower levels of depression as the cortisol levels have decreased.


Go and ask for a hug. Ask your family, ask your friends, ask your partner. Just go and ask. This is the best feeling especially if you are feeling low, stressed, anxious and emotional. It will help you so much so go and get one. Sometimes it might be hard asking for a hug because you might think the other person is to busy 'for me to ask' but just go for it. You might be surprised that they need a hug to.



Touch is also amazing at making you feel good. Hold hands with a loved one and this will allow your feel good hormones to go into overdrive. You will feel so good.
