Autumn Self Care


The nights are drawing in and its getting a little crisper in the air. Autumn is here in the northern hemisphere and now is the time to take a little self care if you haven't done so already this year. If you have been on the fence about doing it then today is the day. Choose one or all of these activities today to feel calm, alive and refreshed.


Drink Green Tea -

It has soooo many health benefits which include It’s loaded with antioxidants that have many health benefits, which include: improved brain function, fat loss, protects against cancer and lowers the risk of heart disease.


Read A book -

This helps you to relax, have time to yourself and allows you to switch off especially if you have had a very busy week at work and know that you have a very busy week coming up. This allows your serotonin levels (calming hormone) to increase. It allows you to use your imagination and go far off into the land of books.


Get A Good Night's Sleep -

Try to get at least 7-8 hours of good quality sleep tonight. This will allow you to feel refreshed tomorrow morning, making you ready for whatever this week will throw at you. Having a good nights sleep allow you to make better decisions within all areas of your life.


Decorate A Pumpkin -

Have some fun, decorating a pumpkin. This will releases the endorphins (happy hormone) and makes you feel warm and calm inside.


Self Massage -

When you have your morning wash, do a self massage on your face, this will stimulate the blood cells around your face, waking you up and making you feel calm and more relaxed.


Stretch -

We may or may not know that stretching is good for you. Roll out of bed and stretch. Just move how your body wants to move. Let it flow. It doesn't have to be complicated or fast just let your intuition guide you and enjoy.
