8 Ingredients For You To Have A Self Care Day


By bringing in self care to your daily or weekly routine, you are allowing yourself to relax, feel calm, well rested and above all feel connected to yourself.


The 8 ingredients are:

- Eat food that makes you feel happy

- Wear your favourite shirt

- Drink a lot of water

- Breathe deeply

- Brush your teeth

- Write things you are grateful for

- Enjoy the sunlight

- Rest mentally and physically



To much in the world right now is all about trying to keep up with demands, deadlines and pressure to perform at your highest. Sometimes we cant do this, so by adding self care to your daily routine, it allows you to feel happy and calm as it releases dopamine and serotonin into your body, the happy and calming hormones.


By eating food that makes you feel happy and wearing your favourite shirt, releases the same hormones as mentioned above.


By drinking a lot of water, this flushes out the toxins within your body, allowing you to feel better.


By breathing deeply, you are allowing more fresh oxygen to flow into the blood cells, circulating into your lungs, oxygenating your body, oxygenating your brain making your feel immediately better.


By brushing your teeth, it makes you feel cleaner, fresher and more awake.


By writing things you are grateful for, allows your mind to think clearer and bring in happy thoughts. It improves self esteem, allows you to sleep better as you are getting rid of thoughts for your mind and it reduces stress.


By enjoying the sunlight, it allows the serotonin to increase, giving you more energy and help keep you calm, positive, and focused.


By resting mentally and physically, this allows your body to feel calm and relaxed, giving you more brain power, body power and allows our body to go into rest and digest. Every day we need sleep and this is for us to fully reset. We cannot function if our bodies are running on empty.
